I had decided early in the week that I would make a Chocolate Carrot Cake but due to the large number of ripe bananas in the kitchen, changed my mind and settled on a Banana Cake with Banana Icing. Nigel then mentioned that Lemon Cake had been requested so I went with that.

Banana Lemon Loaves
I needed to bake for the Church Bazaar this week so, I doubled the recipe and made the same for the Office.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cake
October is "cooking with pumpkin" month at the Holehouse residence and to this end I have baked a Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cake with a streusel topping. Usually, I replace the walnuts with pecans but this week I have replaced them with chocolate.
Although Nigel is out of the office today, he will be there long enough to deliver the cake.
