Applesauce Cake with Caramel icing

This week I have made an Applesauce Cake and topped it with a Caramel icing.  The walnuts have been replaced with, in this case, golden raisins.

The flavour of this cake could change slightly depending on the apples used.

Chocolate Cherry Snack Cake

Banana Cake with Banana Icing

This week, in the fruit bowl, were an excess of speckled fragrant bananas, the ones that generally end up being thrown in the freezer.  I decided that I would use them to make the Banana Cake with Banana Icing but add some toffee bits.

Apple Pie Cake

For the first Friday of November I decided to use apples in the baking.  I have, therefore, modified a recipe for Apple Pie Muffins and baked it as a cake.
