Banana Cake with Banana Icing

This week, as there were plenty of bananas just begging to be used, I have made a Banana Cake with Banana Icing.  Due to the weather the cake was a little late leaving home.

Glazed Lemon Pound Cake

Looking at the fruit bowl yesterday (Thursday) it contained quite a few lemons.  I started looking at recipes and decided on a Glazed Lemon Pound Cake (slightly different from the usual recipe I use).

Due to the combination of lemons used, regular and Meyer (according to Wikipedia, a cross between a lemon and either a mandarin or an orange), the flavour may be a little different.

Chocolate Cake

It is Friday again. This week I have made a Chocolate Cake.  This cake does not contain eggs.

Carrot Cake

This week I have made a Carrot Cake because I bought some really nice looking carrots.  They were sitting on the kitchen island just begging to the used.
