Apple Pie Cake

Need I say that it is, once again, that time of the week again.

This week in the kitchen, begging to be baked into a cake, were some apples.  How could I disappoint!
I have made an Apple Pie Cake (the flavour of apple pie in a cake!).

Glazed Lemon Cake

Friday seems to come round quickly (it almost seems as though it is perpetually Friday!).

This week I decided to go with a recipe which is, dare I say, a favourite of everyone (that may be a slight exaggeration but it is extremely popular)!

Carrot Cake

The choice of cake for today was decided earlier in the week.  I had some very nice carrots and when reviewing the blog realised that Carrot Cake had not been on the menu since 6th June 2014.

Jaffa Drizzle Loaf

The recipe for this week was actually decided upon when choosing the recipe for last week.

I have baked a Jaffa Drizzle Loaf.  This cake is somewhat smaller than the usual 9" x 13" so will probably disappear quickly.

Blueberry Yogurt Pound Cake

This week, whilst thinking about what to make, I had two recipes in mind, Jaffa Drizzle Loaf and Blueberry Yogurt Pound Cake.  As I had plenty of blueberries to be used the blueberry won.

Maybe the Jaffa Drizzle will be baked for next Friday.
