Orange Drizzle Cake

It is Friday again and hurtling towards October, when I usually bake with pumpkin.  However, it is still September and I have baked an Orange Drizzle Cake for your enjoyment.

Chocolate Cake

This week I decided, that since I had several occasions to bake for, that I would keep it fairly simple and use the same cake recipe twice.  To this end I have made a Chocolate Cake.  I shall also be making a Honeyed Apple Tart.

the texture of this cake seemed to be a little different, possibly due the fact that I used a hand mixer and usually I mix it by hand (manually)!

Banana Cake with Banana Icing

In the kitchen this week I had a hand of over ripe bananas perfect for baking. To delight the taste buds (hopefully) I have made a Banana Cake with Banana Icing.
