Banana Chocolate Chip (and Chunks) Cake

This week I decided to give pumpkin a break and at the suggestion of Nigel used bananas.  Banana chocolate chip muffins were suggested but, as they do not provide as many servings, I found a recipe for a Banana chip cake which was very similar, and topped it with some chocolate butter icing.

Halloween Bars

This week I have made Halloween Bars. These bars contain pumpkin, raisins, chocolate and nuts.  I have, however, replaced the nuts with extra chocolate.

Pumpkin Snacking Cake

Some of you are probably hopeful that it is Friday as the cake has been made for today.  Sorry to disappoint but, yes, it is actually Thursday.

Nigel asked for the cake today as he will be out of the office tomorrow and he did not want you to miss out this week. Having said that, I have made a Pumpkin Snacking Cake.

Pumpkin Carrot Cake

For the month of October I usually bake cakes and muffins containing pumpkin, this month is no exception.  The first cake of the month is a Pumpkin Carrot Cake.

I wrote this post yesterday but, at the time, had not decided on a topping and therefore saved it to 'drafts'.  The topping I decided on was a Cinnamon Cream Cheese Icing/Frosting.
