Sausage Rolls and Mince Pies

It is the last Friday before the Christmas holiday.  It is traditional (and expected) that the baking be Sausage Rolls and Mince Pies.  So as not to disappoint I spent a majority of yesterday in the kitchen making mini muffins for Laura's students and both flaky and shortcrust pastry (which needed to rest) before making Sausage Rolls and Mince Pies.

Chocolate Gingerbread

It is quite unbelievable that December is here and that there are only two more baking days (Friday cake) before the Christmas holidays.

For the first Friday of this month I have made a Chocolate Gingerbread dusted with icing sugar.
