This week I raided the freezer for some nice ripe banana to make the Banana Cake with Banana Icing, a cake which, according to previous blog posts, I had not made since 12th February.

Glazed Lemon Cake
Looking around the kitchen this week for inspiration there were some nice ripe lemons sitting in the fruit bowl. Other than making lemonade what do you do with lemons? You make Glazed Lemon Cake, a perennial favourite.
