Chocolate Cake

This week I thought that I would make a chocolate cake and set about deciding on a recipe.  The recipe I decided upon is a chocolate pound cake, so called because most of the ingredients weigh one pound, making the cake quite heavy.  I topped this cake with a cream cheese icing (frosting).

Glazed Lemon Cake

I know that Glazed Lemon Cake was made only a few weeks ago but as I was celebrating my birthday yesterday and I love lemon I have made it again for you to enjoy.  I also made a mini Lemon Quark Cheesecake as my birthday cake and now to decide how to top it.

Banana Cake

Last week, due to travel, there was no cake on Friday but this week it has returned.

I had a number of ripe bananas this week and no room in the freezer so I have made the Banana Cake with Banana Icing (not quite the same as I mixed some Banana Icing with some buttercream).
