Glazed Orange Cake

It is now officially autumn/fall.  The temperature is now more seasonal, at least temporarily, which makes it much more conducive to baking.  This week  I have changed up the Glazed Lemon Cake recipe and used clementines hence, Glazed Orange (Clementine) Cake.

Glazed Lemon Cake

Whilst trying to decide what to bake for this week I checked out the blog and realised that Glazed Lemon Cake had not made an appearance for almost two months.  Decision made.  Glazed Lemon it would be.

Due to some cake being left from some earlier baking this week there is a little extra.  Hopefully, those who often miss out will be in luck.

Banana Cake with Banana Icing

Now into the September the weather is much better for spending long periods of time cooking. Having said that the time is flying by.

Nigel has returned from his travels and so there is the usual Friday cake.  This week it is Banana Cake with Banana Icing.

Vanilla Cake with Chocolate Buttercream

The time is flying by, today we enter the 9th month of 2017.  Schools have started and the temperatures are a little cooler, more conducive to having the oven on for longer periods of time.

This week I have made a Vanilla Cake and topped it with a Chocolate Buttercream.
